Here is a short list of useful art resources which can be freely accessed:

The project was started by Beth Harris and Steven Zucker as a blog offering art content in audio and video files, at first for use in the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and was later continued in order to benefit students. Currently, it contains 448 artworks and 367 videos and its files have been viewed over 2M times. Smarthistory has merged with the Khan Academy and is open to contributions of photos, other content and ideas.
    • The British Library recently launched an online Sounds Library with 50,000 recordings and 3.5 M sounds of music, words and environmental sources from all over the world.
    • Contemporary artistic projects in a large number of areas (from painting to marketing and social media) can be uploaded and seen on the creative professional platform Behance.
